Instrument Specific classes and Band Ensemble Work
Ages (11 yrs & up )

This program accommodates students with at least some experience on their chosen instrument. Percussion is the exception which requires no experience. Participants develop a focus and refine a musical direction through master classes and band sessions

The range of instruments includes: 

Woodwinds: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon 

Brasses: trumpet, horn, trombone, baritone, euphonium, tuba. 

Percussion: snare, bass drum, xylophone, timpani, auxiliary percussion instruments

Participants will be placed in a band based on the experience stated on the registration form and demonstrated capability. Each band will showcase their accomplishments at the Friday Gala.

Students are expected to bring their own instrument in working condition but arrangements can be made to borrow an instrument for the week if necessary.(please identify on the registration form) 

Percussion instruments will be provided.
