Jazz - Instrumental

All Ages - with some instrumental experience​

The Summer Music Jazz Program is open to all ages. For those of you who have never played jazz you will be in a very comfortable setting with your level to begin your study. Jazz veterans will continue with a review of the basics and continued study of applications to chord, forms and repertoire. Students work towards performing selections at the Jazz Gala at the end of the week.

A wide range of instruments interests can be accommodated:

• All woodwinds, brass, strings: violin, viola, cello and guitar. 

• Upright bass, electric bass, drum set and piano 

 

The Jazz Gala is Friday afternoon - Bruce County Museum in Southampton 4:30 PM start.

​

Classes begin at 9:00 AM and run until 3:45 PM for the week. 

Cost: $370 per student
